Before you buy: what happens to your eSIM

If the plan fits your eSIM, it goes straight onto it — nothing to install. The same plan again adds to your data; on some cards a different plan replaces the current one, and whatever is left on it is gone. If it does not fit, you automatically get a new eSIM to install. Data left on the old eSIM stays usable there until it expires.

Enter your ICCID number
You find the ICCID on your phone. iPhone: Settings → General → About, then scroll down to your eSIM — the line is called ICCID. Android: Settings → About phone → SIM status (on some makes: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → your eSIM). The number is 19 to 20 digits and starts with 89.
